Orthopaedic Rare Conditions Internet Database (ORCID)
The purpose of ORCID is to collect clinical information on rare orthopaedic conditions. Each orthopaedic surgeon or musculoskeletal health professional sees a few of these cases during his or her lifetime in practice, but often only one or two of each type. No one gets enough experience to try different treatment strategies or see trends. By collecting the cases we intend to improve each individual physicians' breadth of experience and thereby increase the chance of improving the outcome in these challenging cases.
The concept of ORCID was created by Myles Clough.
