  • PGY-3: Emphasis on elective procedures, plus rotations at the VA hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center
  • PGY-4: Greatly increased responsibility at Stony Brook University Medical Center and Winthrop University Hospital, dedicated research rotation
  • PGY-5: Chief Resident
