  • One-to-one mentor-based training system
  • Optional 6-year research track available
  • One research project required of all residents

  • Daily conferences cover: x-ray, basic science, Grand Rounds, journal club, pediatrics

  • PGY-1: Anesthesiology, emergency medicine, internal medicine (infectious diseases), general surgery (trauma team), orthopaedic trauma (3 months), pediatric general surgery, plastic surgery, surgical ICU, vascular surgery
  • PGY-2: Adult reconstruction and rehabilitation, anatomy and research, general orthopaedics, hand surgery, joint replacement
  • PGY-3: Foot and ankle, orthopaedic trauma, pediatric orthopaedics, sports medicine, spine
  • PGY-4: Hand surgery, pediatric orthopaedics, shoulder and elbow, sports medicine, knee reconstruction, spine
  • PGY-5: Chief Resident, trauma, adult reconstruction, total joint replacement
