Preferred answer: 1
Discussion: Another simple question. The actions of insulin on muscle include increased glucose entry into cells, increased glycogen synthesis, increased amino acid uptake, increased ribosomal protein synthesis, decreased protein catabolism, and decreased release of gluconeogenic amino acids. The net result is anabolic as the muscle will store protein and carbohydrate and use glucose as the energy source. So answers #2, 3, 4, and 5 are wrong. See, simple!!
