Type I: Fracture through the capitellum; lateral trochlear ridge remains intact, preventing dislocation of the radius and ulna

Type II: Simple transtrochlear-lateral metaphyseal fracture with medial capsuloligamentous disruption of the radius and lateral dislocation of the ulna

Explanation
