Location
The brachioradialis and the radial collateral ligament of the wrist attaches here. The abductor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis brevis pass over it.
Significance
Site of Chauffeur’s fracture. Pain here may reflect DeQuervain’s tenosynovitis (irritation of the extensor pollicis brevis and abductor pollicis longus tendons).
